The Scrabo Masonic Lodge No.714, is based in Newtownards, County Down, Northern Ireland. We meet in Newtownards Masonic Centre, Lodge Lane, Newtownards. Regular meeting are on the forth Friday of each month (except June, July and August) at 7:30pm.
We were constituted as a subordinate Masonic Lodge under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ireland and the Provincial Grand Lodge of Down, on Saturday 16th August 1947. R.W. Bro. Sir WM Robinson – Provincial Deputy Grand Master, conducted the ceremony of constitution and dedication in the presence of the twenty five founding members.
The main focus of the Lodge, is the practice of brotherly love between its members, the propagation of charitable relief to those in need and the preservation of old traditions and customs of freemasonry in a private setting.
We welcome visitors from other lodges, and would also welcome those interested in joining the largest and oldest fraternal organisation in the world.
Non-members of the fraternity interested in potential membership should make contact through the contacts page of this website.
